New Business Opportunity

NCED seeks a qualified contractor to evaluate its current economic development infrastructure/incentives against national benchmarks/competitors and provide recommendations to build capacity in support of technology commercialization within Nevada.  With a focus on fostering technology-based business ventures, the analysis should focus on leveraging innovations and entrepreneurial infrastructure contained both within Nevada (e.g. NSHE, corporations) and the surrounding region (e.g. California).  In benchmarking national commercialization infrastructure best practices, the analysis should capture and report out the myriad of public and private sector funding mechanisms employed in support of innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship.  Finally, NCED seeks recommendations and a high level roadmap supporting the attainment of both private and public sector funds to support Nevada’s commercialization infrastructure.  Learn more.
